Yes, the first tooth, bottom, right.
The funny thing is that we went for the 6 month shots this Tuesday, and I told the doctor I thought I saw the tooth coming out. But he said that the little dark spot on top of his lower gum is just a cyst, something babies often have. These things apparently clear out on their own. His estimate was that the teeth have another month or two to come out...
Well... the little dark spot grew longer, but I did not pay much attention to it because of what the doctor said. However, this morning he started chewing on my finger and, ouch! it hurt. I felt with my finger, and I could feel a little hard spot. My husband said I was dreaming since he could not feel anything, so I did not think about it much. Until this evening, when I felt again, and now it was a tooth, oh yeah! I could feel (gently with my nail) four little hard bumps. A tooth!
(By the way, he was so cranky all day that it had to be it. And when he is like that, he doesn't really cry, he basically moans and groans. You would think that's easier to take than screaming? But, no! After an hour of those sounds I am ready to jump out the window, screaming, pulling my hair out.)
